Disclaimer

Apple has always tried to make better pricing available for educational individuals and institutions. You have some options available to you if you are interested in buying an Apple computer. You can buy from a local dealer or online or participate in the school's buy-in program.

Please contact the IT Director after making a purchase just to let us know if the process was easy to follow.

Policies/Guides

The following policies are not specifically concerning the Apple discount, but they are related. For example, the Laptop Buy-in Policy is another way for full-time teachers to acquire an Apple laptop for less than the full price of the machine.


 

Procedure for Buying in Mexico

  • You can choose to buy from a local dealer in Monterrey at competitive prices.
  • Go to Apple Store / Mexico.
  • Follow the links to International Stores.
  • Follow links for "Store para Educacion"
  • Choose Primaria o Prepa.
  • Accept that you are an educational user (student/staff).
  • Continue shopping. (the store then shows you Apple Education discounted pricing as you shop).
  • Once you Proceed to Check-out, you will need to Create an Account.
  • You will need to fill address and billing information.
  • If you would rather place the order by phone, you can.
  • You should have a US ship-to address and be able to verify your educator or student status if asked (student or staff card).

Procedure for Buying in US/Canada

  • If you are a teacher from the US/Canada, you can buy a machine in your country at a dealer or online. If you choose online, follow these steps:
  • DO NOT buy a desktop as you will not be allowed to import it to Mexico.
  • Go to Apple Store
  • Follow links for educational discounts and K-12 Individual Pricing.
  • Enter your current city and state then pick your school from the list of schools.
  • You will then need to agree to a waiver.
  • Continue shopping. (the store then shows you Apple Education discounted pricing as you shop).
  • Once you Proceed to Check-out, you will need to Create an Account.
  • You will need to fill address and billing information.
  • If you would rather place the order by phone, call 1-800-780-5009 from the US.
  • You should have a US ship-to address and be able to verify your educator or student status if asked (student or staff card).
