The ASFM professional staff is made up of approximately 200 teachers. Approximately one half of the teachers are Mexican nationals, and the other half are teachers from the United States and Canada. Many of the local teachers are ASFM alumni and they provide the long-term stability and love for ASFM that creates such a special learning environment. Many of the local teachers also have their own children enrolled in ASFM so they have an added incentive to promote excellence within all aspects of the school. The foreign-hired teachers from the United States and Canada have been recruited to teach at our school.

They bring the latest innovative teaching strategies and their experiences in other schools from around the world that enable our school to remain on the cutting edge of educational program development.The staff adheres to the “work hard, play hard” philosophy. There are a lot of recreational and cultural outlets and the teachers seem to take full advantage of what is available. Many life long friendships have been formed as a result of being a member of the ASFM school community. The school has challenged us to do our best work, but we are proud to be part of the ASFM community of learners.
